Hardy's Pool

Undoubtedly one of the finest private mixed fish waters in Cheshire with a fantastic group of keen anglers who form the syndicate.

 

The water is about 100x80 metres with man made floating islands and almost every peg having its own lily bed, fishing is phenomenal even at rod tip and the water has a depth of some 17' in many parts. The pool is set within a wooded area and slightly sunken meaning that even on windy days surface movement is significantly reduced.

Facilities on-site are second to none and include such things as Parking - Excellent access mostly paved around the pool - Over 40 pegs all easily accessible via pathway round the perimeter - Site cabin giving a terrific view of the pool with water heater & microwave - eating table - portaloo - The pool even has a Pump & Aerator to keep water in tiptop condition.

 

The Syndicate

The Syndicate was formed back in 2001 with 3 founding members securing a long term lease and is firmly set to remain. The syndicate cap is set at approximately 70 members as this is felt to be an ideal balance.
We do have rules, and bailiffs acting on the clubs behalf to ensure the smooth running along with highest standards are upheld.

 

Fish stock

Yes.......... We have Goldfish :) Not to mention Koi - F1 - Roach - Rudd - Bream - Skimmers - Perch - Tench - All Carp - and the odd Barbel.
This is mixed fishing at it's finest.

In General
Fishing is supposed to be fun and relaxing and that is the atmosphere amongst our members when on site.

Being a private water means that our members enjoy some of the best mixed fishing there is to offer and we are delighted and proud that over the years many clubs have booked our venue to enjoy a great days match fishing and even more delighted at the respect and courtesy that these clubs have shown to our facilities and members alike.

We are cautious so that our water is not abused nor fished too much and as such we do have a limit to how many Sunday bookings we can accept, not every request can be fulfilled unfortunately.

Also there is the cost....... Fishing at our water is not cheap currently running at some £6.00 per day per peg booked being the same as a guest invite charge.
But, you could ask anyone that has ever fished our water one simple question giving them a choice of where they would rather fish for a match. At a canal bank, some overfished poorly stocked water, or somewhere most anglers would blank or some other run of the mill place or............. to fish Hardy's Pool where all you need is a little loose feed to keep the fishing going all day and let me assure you, people would opt for our water every time.
